Reid H. Davidson ~ President/Broker In early 1989, Reid H. Davidson established Davidson Associates, Inc., in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. This unique firm specializes in tenant representation for Atlanta's most demanding and selective office and industrial space users. Quality and economic results are of the highest priority as Davidson has handled over 1,000,000 s.f. of assignments. Davidson Associates also assists companies and certain domestic and overseas pension funds with major office and industrial acquisitions. The establishment of this firm represented the culmination of Davidson's prior ten years in commercial real estate including experience with several of the industry's leaders. In office development, these were Gerald D. Hines Interests and Cabot, Cabot & Forbes (in Washington, DC) and Atlanta's Landmarks Group, now part of Trammell Crow. In acquisition/advisory roles, he was with Richard Ellis/Yarmouth Group which became ERE/Yarmouth (also in Atlanta). Davidson served these firms in a landlord capacity; first, as a Property Manager and Leasing Agent, then as a Project Manager (in office development) followed by V.P. of Acquisitions, gaining experience and key contacts in major office markets across the USA. In such roles, he was responsible for the leasing, management, development and acquisition of over $1 billion in property. Through these experiences, he advanced superior negotiation skills and developed ideas for improved office tenant representation and acquisition services, thus the formation of Davidson Associates. Davidson received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business, having graduated with a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. He was an honor graduate of Atlanta's Westminster Schools where he held All-American and State titles in springboard diving. Linda A. Winks ~ Office Manager Linda is the Office Manager for Davidson Associates, and Executive Assistant to Mr. Davidson. While managing the day-to-day activities of the office, she plays an important role in client support and administrative support for Mr. Davidson. Prior to joining Davidson Associates, she was for six years the office manager/administrative assistant to the president of a distribution company for point of sale systems. Prior to this, she held positions in Toronto, including executive assistant at a major advertising agency and legal secretary for a large law firm. Linda brings a wealth of corporate administrative experience and client support to Davidson Associates. She is an integral member of the Davidson team. |
